Sponsor a student to ensure BHS can send students regardless of their financial resources.
THEY ARE SO CLOSE TO REALIZING THEIR GOAL, BUT THEY ARE NOT QUITE THERE YET. WE ARE LEAVING THE MESSAGE FROM JANUARY BELOW BECAUSE IT CONTAINS MANY PERTINENT FACTS REGARDING THE TRIP. SINCE JANUARY, A LARGE AMOUNT OF TIME, EFFORT, AND DEDICATION HAS BEEN SPENT IN RAISING FUNDS FOR THE TRIP. THE FOLLOWING LIST SHOWS HOW THE MISSION HAS GROWN AND STILL NEEDS SUPPORT.
1. THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS ROSE FROM 19 TO 26 IN THE PAST SIX MONTHS.
2. THOSE STUDENTS WERE TOLD BUT THEY HAD TO RAISE THEIR ENTIRE TOTAL ON THEIR OWN, BUT AN EFFORT WAS ESTABLISHED TO ASSIST THEM AS WELL.
3. THE CHAPERONE TOTAL ROSE FROM FIVE INDIVIDUALS TO NINE.
4. MANY BUSINESSES, PHILANTHROPISTS, AND GENEROUS INDIVIDUALS HAVE EARMARKED OR CONTRIBUTED FUNDS TO THESE STUDENTS.
5. THE FINAL PAYMENT DATE IS NEARING, AND FUNDRAISING WILL SOON COME TO A CONCLUSION. AFTER JUNE 15TH, ALL STUDENTS WILL NEED TO PAY FOR THE TRIP OUT OF POCKET.
PLEASE CONSIDER CONTRIBUTING IN ANY WAY YOU CAN. TIME IS RUNNING OUT, AND THERE ARE STILL STUDENTS ON THE PERIPHERY WHO WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED FROM THE TRIP DUE TO LACK OF FUNDING. PLEASE INVEST IN A YOUNG PERSON'S FUTURE!

Initially, we were raising funds for a group of 15, and now we are raising funds for a group of 32. We are doing everything in our power to raise the funding for each and every student who wants to attend this trip. We do need your help though.
This trip represents an opportunity to change the lives of many human beings. Many of these students might never have an opportunity to see the world, or have their eyes open to possibilities that this world holds.
They need your help. Most of these students are working part-time jobs, actively fundraising at home and school, while trying to perfect their dramatic skills in order to perform on a world stage. That's a lot to ask from a group of young persons.
Finally, there is a core group here who really need your financial support. They have no way of raising the funds necessary to attend this trip. However, this trip means the world to them. It's an opportunity for the community and those statewide to show these kids that they are important and deserve the support of those around them. BHS Drama is the ONLY program in the state who will be performing.
Please consider helping these kids. Any investment you make will be met with gratitude and the promise that these kids will provide you with thanks, recognition, and the promise to pay it forward in their futures. Please be generous.
